Dillon Smith

My journey began in the military, continued through law enforcement and firefighting, and eventually led me into years of dedicated work in the mental health and substance abuse field. These experiences have shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, service, and the importance of community.

I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, faith-based concerns, life transitions, and performance or sports anxiety. My practice primarily focuses on non-medical counseling, though I may consider higher-acuity needs when I am able to provide appropriate support.

My counseling practice is Christian in nature. While I am not a Biblical counselor, I integrate a Biblical framework with evidence-based counseling approaches. I gladly work with clients from all faith backgrounds, including those who do not identify with any religion, provided they understand and consent to working within this framework.

Outside of my work, I am a Christian, husband, and father. I enjoy time with my family, the outdoors, and our two freeloading dogs who keep life lighthearted.

I am committed to walking alongside my clients with support, understanding, and encouragement as they navigate life’s challenges.
